What Is Christ Culture?
More than fifty years ago, Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. held a mirror up to the face of the Christian Church in America and boldly asserted that the Sunday morning church hour is the most segregated hour in America. More than fifty years later, even as the church has made great efforts to bridge the cultural divide within its congregations, somehow, the cultural divide remains amongst the majority of Christian churches in America.
Christ Culture offers a step toward a new solution to the cultural divide, not just in the American church, but in America as well. Christ Culture brings the Gospel message of Jesus Christ back to the center of the conversation, and to the forefront of the church’s God-given mission on earth. Christ Culture challenges every believer to see others as God created them, regardless of how modern western culture may present them.
