Aspen's life in California hasn't turned out quite as she imagined it would. Her marriage and bakery both ended in failure, but at least she has Roy, her seven-year-old son. When she unexpectedly inherits her aunt's house in Bourneville, Montana right before Christmas, she decides to take Roy there and show him the enchanting Christmases her aunt gave her as a child. Determined to help Aspen make this Roy's best Christmas ever, he finds his frozen heart thawing as they embark on a Christmas journey full of magic and promise.
