The author, using the pen name of Barry Wilde, was born in England in a little village called Rustington on the South Coast. Barry now enjoys a quiet retired life with his wife in Mandurah, Western Australia, having emigrated from England in 1974 and adopting Australian nationality in 1978.The couple has two children and three grandchildren and a constant Kelpie companion called Rocky.
Barry's love of dogs and writing has always been in his blood, and the opportunity to finally write about Cindy has been a driving force since retiring.
