Hilde Oleson is a woman of many words. In her ninety years, she has cared for children, horses, cats, and dogs. Daughter of a preacher, Hilde fires her own way through family, independence, and a never ending creativity that her poetry reflects.

Lorraine Kujawa is a woman of few words, but in her words she travels through life changes—from teaching school to her coming out. She enjoys the blessings of having arrived in Provincetown with its beauty and human encounters.

Pat Lombardi, a chemist and a technical writer by education and experience, writes of all that astounds her in nature. She reflects on the beauty of the natural world of Provincetown and how it touches our lives.

Margaret Phillips looks back on growing up in the Midwest by remembering her grandparents’ Indiana farm, the garden, the buildings, the round of the seasons, and the beauty of a way of life. She is the 2013 Cultural Center of Cape Cod Poetry Contest Regional Winner.
