Abraham (Abe) Joseph, Jr. was born and raised in Kingsland, Georgia, located in Camden County in Southeast Georgia. He was the second youngest child of Abraham (Ham) Sr. and Maude (a school teacher) Joseph. Abe has always been a visionary and dreamer since the age of 7. His future plans were to own his own business and become successful. Abe started his first business (lawn care) at the age of 10. He had established a list of clients that kept him busy every week during the spring and summer months.
After graduating from Camden County High School, Abe enrolled in Morris Brown College, Atlanta, Georgia, where he received a Bachelors of Science Degree in Accounting. He later received a Masters Degree from Troy University, Troy, Alabama. Abe has studied business and leadership courses through the University of Georgia, Auburn University and University of Phoenix.
Abe has worked in the Federal Government (Department of Defense and Veterans Affairs) as an accountant and auditor for over 25 years. He has operated an accounting, tax and consulting business (part and full-time) for over 31 years. He spent eight years as a Tax Auditor for the Georgia Department of Revenue. Abe served as an Adjunct Professor in the School of Business at Concordia and Huston-Tilloston Universities, both in Austin, Texas.
As a community volunteer and activist, he has worked with local business organizations, churches, civic and social groups and served as a mentor to young middle and high school males. Abe also served as Chief Financial Officer (CFO) for two nationally known not-for-profit organizations, as a volunteer.
Abe has three children, Arika, Bianca, and Andre. His motto is “Faith, Hard Work, Respect and Support for others are the key to success!”
