Produktinformationen zu „Cultural Perception of Marriage Among Muslims (ePub)“
Although the institution of marriage has been in existence since the creation of the human race, mankind has struggled to achieve the peace and security that this institution is supposed to offer. Many books have been written and numerous seminars and conferences have been held to answer the often asked question What is the recipe for a blissful marriage?, and although many suggestions have been offered, the rate of divorce continues to increase.
The author relentlessly pursued and researched this line of study, taking him back to the first human creation, bringing him nearer to the origin of this institution and its originator. Throughout the ages, many billions of people have followed this tradition in which the lawful reproductions of the human race have been ensured.
As time elapsed and man went astray from the divine guidance that came to him, the originator sends constant reminders of the rules, as once sent to the prophets that are supposed to guide us. However, again and again we have chosen to ignore these rules that are supposed to secure that peaceful, happy, tranquil, and durable relationship between husband and wife.
Cultural Perception of Marriage among Muslims is filled with advice and a recipe for success for people of all races and colours, religion and locales, of how a blissful marriage can be achieved when drawn from the divine text. So whether you are married or hope to get married one day, this book will be of great benefit and a blessing. This book is to be studied and used as a point of reference in order to avoid the pitfalls of disunity and disagreement and separation between a husband and wife, avoiding a problematic marriage.

Autoren-Porträt von Sheikh Muhammad Kamaludin
Mohammed Kamaludin was born in Jamaica in the West Indies in 1937. He attended the local primary school until the age of sixteen; he went on to study agriculture at the J. Y. C. Institute in Jamaica. Before graduating in 1956, he enrolled in the Jamaican Constabulary Force to do his national service, and while he was there, he learnt classical music. He left the force in 1960 and immigrated to the United Kingdom, where he permanently resides. In 1961, while studying electrical wiring, he started to work as a session musician playing a wind instrument and percussion until 1971, when he formed his own recording company and became manager of a few famous artists.
In 1975, after doing a world tour, including the United States and Africa, he left the music industry, having accepted Islam and having seen the poverty and desperation among some of the people in Africa and the so-called third world. He began to work as an NGO (nongovernmental organizer).
While he was involved in this line of work, he took a course in psychodynamic counselling. He founded and formed the community in Brixton South London, known today as Brixton Mosque and Islamic Cultural Centre.
Retired from his job as an Imam of His Majesty's Prison Service U K in 2002, he continues to work with others in the field of management of his community, marriage guidance, and counselling.
This is his second book on the subject. The first was Love and Mercy, and it was written from his own personal interests, knowledge, and experiences gained over the last forty years working in this field. It has greatly assisted him in producing a book of this nature.
