It is a mixture of fantasy, mystery and adventure which, as a child Victoria loved to read for herself. She was inspired by C.S Lewis, particularly The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe. "e;My motivation to finally start writing my children's novel came from my ten-year-old son. I flippantly told him, with hard work and determination you can be whatever you want. To which my son asked me, when I was little, what had I wanted to be? I answered him, 'To become a children's author.' Then, he simply asked, 'Why didn't you then?'
