Chase Barnes, becoming further emotionally unhinged after learning of his wife's unexpected pregnancy, impulsively ventures to Atlantic City for a weekend getaway. Rather than rediscovery, Chase discovers a world of manipulation, corruption, and intimidation when voluntarily coming to the aid of an up and coming poker player who has been sucked into the evil world of gambling.

Rather than return to his wife's side, Chase runs further towards the gunfire and has to figure out how to, not only get Dakota Martin out from under Nestor Marconi's thumb but how to get them both out alive.
