Dr. Teresa Taylor Williams is a trail blazing leader in the counseling and clinical psychology field. Teresa was born with an entreprenuerial spirit and dedication to upward mobility through education. She started her own business at age 22 and attained multiple advanced degrees from prestigious universities before age 30. She is the founder, sole owner, publisher and executive editor of The New York Trend Newspaper. Celebrating 30 years as the largest Black-owned publication in Long Island, with circulation in New York. Dr. Williams maintains a groundbreaking practice as a board certified psychotherapist for families, women and emerging adult populations. Teresa is also the CEO of TTW Associates, Inc., a media consulting and publishing company. She is the proud mother of three children, all of whom are rising leaders of tomorrow. Teresa attributes her unbreakable spirit and tenacity for greatness to the three generations of women who raised her. She proudly tells her story of rebirth, triumph, survival and breaking the shackles of conformity after the sudden passing of her husband that turned her world upside down in Death of a Good Girl.
