Peony Pearl, creator of the Mia Meyers series, is an avid enthusiast of art and fashion. She knew ever since she picked up a Vogue magazine that she wanted to write and illustrate books centered on fashion. She is currently working on the series as of when this was published. Pearl also is a fan of science fiction and all things interesting and weird. She had earned her undergraduate in biology and went on to earn a master's in library science.
