Penny, the church kid, a once young and ambitious girl from a small southen Island on the coast of Mississippi, had what seemed like the perfect life. She had the world in the palm of her hand. She was the youngest of her siblings, and some said, she was favored by her parents. The elders of her community seemed to adore her.
