Produktinformationen zu „Desiree Fern (ePub)“
Her name is Desiree Fern, and she was a rebel. She was a temptress, a harlot, an artist, an individual. She was everything forbidden in her puritan village. In a God-fearing time of oppression, suspicion, and restrictions, Desiree defied every rule. She lived a life of passion, sex, song, and expression. The life of an outcast, but also the life of a free spirit.
Then one morning, she woke up with a power. Mystical lights in the form of claws could come out of her fingers. Now her life will never be the same.
Then one morning, she woke up with a power. Mystical lights in the form of claws could come out of her fingers. Now her life will never be the same.
Autoren-Porträt von Zachary Duresky
Zachary Duresky is a college graduate from Randolph Macon College in Ashland, Virginia. He graduated with a bachelor's degree in English. He began writing in high school, where he mainly did poetry. In college he moved on to short stories and then eventually his first novel, "Desiree Fern." "Desiree Fern" is a personal accomplishment for Zachary Duresky. She is his favorite creation. She has always served as a symbol of comfort for him whenever he felt down. To him, she represents being who you are and not letting those around you control you. Zachary Duresky lives in Glen Allen, Virginia, where he enjoys the simple pleasures of films, television, books, good food, and writing of course. He comes from a loving family that has always been there to support him and love him. He has had to struggle through many aspects of life because he was diagnosed with Asperger's syndrome when he was six. But like Desiree, he made it through life his own way and made the best out of all life had to offer.
