Eight people began the 25- month life in the secret room from the day they hide in July 1942. In the day time, they could't speak, were shoes and make any noise. Even going to the toilet is prohibited. They could only break these prohibitions at night. They got food, articles of daily use and information from outside world with the help of colleagues in father's company.In the long 25 months, Anne could only use the pen to record each day's life and her growth in attic with the support of dream of becoming a writer. This included her thoughts of war, anti-semitism, parenting relationship, nature etc., which all promoted her to a mature person with deep understanding of life.
