Michel Foucault describes a genealogy of disciplines and milieus of inclusion in his book " Supervise and Punish". The end of this development is marked by the panop-tism as a model of society. The panoptism based on the architectural model of the panopticon, developed by Jeremy Bentham, describes an all-round supervising state. An invisible power accumulates knowledge about the whole body of society. But in the 1980s an anti-theory came up which called out the crisis of all milieus of inclu-sion. The following model is called controlling society. Self-technologies are coming up. Primal is not longer the orientation to a static norm but to a dynamic one. Produc-tivity is now intensified by competition and rivalry, not longer by division of labour.
