Produktinformationen zu „Distant Winds (ePub)“
This work is a diary in poetic form. It gives a history of one mans struggle with the two great loves in his life, those being God and his best friend. There are some Christian poems whoever the main thrust is of his undying secret love for her. Etons poetry often has a dark flavor which he attributes to the fact that his favorite poet was Edger Allan Poe. If you are someone who enjoys a variety of subjects then this may be the book of poetry for you. Contained within its pages are over three hundred individual works and a satire located in the back.
Autoren-Porträt von Eton Wolfe
Eton Wolfe grew up in a small country town with his three siblings, two older brothers and an older sister. As he was always into the arts he felt out of place, hiding his love for the craft from all. Eton is a disabled, visually impaired veteran of the United States Military and is active in the local church, using every opportunity to share his faith in the risen Lord Jesus and help in whatever way he can find to use the events in his life to reach out to others. Mr. Wolfe is quick to point out that his diminished eye sight has only increased his vision as he is currently attending school for a Bachelors in Theology with a minor in Apologetics. Some may find it difficult to understand how he, being spiritually minded could write on the subject of loving someone who is not able to freely return those feelings but as Eton says himself “We are all imperfect. We all have things that we must struggle against, the problem with many Christians today is that we do not show the world our frailties and in so doing they either do not think that we can understand how they feel or worse still they see through our facade and realize that the holier than thou persona is merely a mask.
