A problem we all come up with on the Path is an attachment. Could you really, at a moment’s notice, given the wherewithal, uproot yourself and go and undertake a task for the Master? Would you be able to withstand loneliness for five years? Would you be able to withstand the contempt and ridicule of the world for five years?
When people are attached, they tend not to be able to perform a task of importance given to them by the Master. An attachment is not easy to recognize.
