After many years of trying to get to the top of his profession, Ron Young finally gets his opportunity, makes the most of it and guides his Cinderella team into the Final Four Championship. Ron Young has his days of glory and then the tables turn on him as he has to deal with the NCAA Investigators for cheating violations. Ron Young's basketball career, which covers over thirty years of dedicated service, and honest hard work is destroyed after one year trying to make it to the Big Dance.

Ron Mayberry never coached a game on the division one level. Although he has a won-lost record of 908-325, he doesn’t feel that makes him special. But since he did it at 24 different schools, never had a losing record, he feels that should get your attention. If you include his head coaching experience on all levels of play he has over 1000 wins which he feels gives him the ultimate journey in coaching. Ron had most of his success on the college level mainly because he has several players [17] go to the Pro level of basketball. Because of that fact, Coach Mayberry was recruited as well as the players. He feels he learned from the best how to bend the rules of the NCAA without getting caught. Coaching players that can play in the NBA is a story within a story but he doesn’t feel that makes him special except that he did it on the junior college level of basketball.
