Jianyong Yu, Doctor of Engineering, Professor, PhD Supervisor, Principal of National Key Discipline-Textile Science and Engineering. He obtained his BS, ME and PhD in Textile Materials at the China Textile University (1981-1991) and served as a postdoctoral fellow in Organic Materials Engineering at Tokyo Institute of Technology (1997-1999). His research interests mainly include textile materials, textile processing technology, textile composite materials and nanofibrous materials. His main achievements include 3 edited books, 132 peer-reviewed SCI journal papers and 74 approved patents. He has won 16 scientific and technology awards, including the "China Textile Academic Big Award," the "Outstanding Contribution Award of National Scientific and Technology Research Project," and the "National Outstanding
