After he was shot in Iraq, his wife convinced him it was time to retire. Mac came home from his final deployment with a plan. He was finally going to take it easy and enjoy time with his family. His wife was excited to have him home, and they talked about their plans for retirement, but all their plans came to a halt one fateful day.
