Above all, it shows us why cats matter and why our lives are richer when they share the journey with us.The Cat Protection Society of NSW Inc. began in 1958 as a small group of people dedicated to finding loving and responsible homes for street cats. Today, their vision remains the same and they now offer a range of feline care services from their purpose-designed, no-kill shelter in Newtown. An independent charity, the organisation is also a member of Animals Australia and WSPA. It has 1700 members, 150 volunteers, 12 staff and looks after 3000 to 4000 cats a year. It is these members and volunteers who have contributed the wonderful cat stories and images contained in this book.
