Some of the popular themes in kink writing include humiliation and an imbalance of power between two or more characters. I think one of the things that separates this aspect of the kink with more conventional stories of relationships is the fact characters in sissy and/or cuckold situations don't end up as the hero of the story. He's been completely stripped of his sense of power and control but he carries a burning resentment of his situation. He's the only one I know who has the seed of rebellion that could transform him from a weak sissy boi to an actual hero. We'll see how that goes.
