Jon Rister is a practicing instructor in Texas, teaching martial arts since 1987. He has studied and achieved instructor rank in kali-eskrima under Magulang Na Guro Dan Inosanto, in wing chun under Sifu Francis Fong, and in jun fan jeet kune do under Sifu Dan Inosanto and Larry B. Hartsell. Among Jon Rister’s proudest achievements, more so than his own accomplishments, is for him to have seen three generations of his own students achieve instructor rank.Jon Rister is a practicing instructor in Texas, teaching martial arts since 1987.
