Oil, the worlds most powerful fuel source, is finally running out. After years of looking, just in the nick of time a new source is found. The new fuel, named PHOENIX by the egotistical owner of SPARK Corporation, gives his lust for power a final push and prompts him to seize the control over the world he has been desperate to gain. And now that the Company has that authority, they will do anything to keep it.
Varin Vargon and his family are about to leave one of the most powerful cities when disaster hits, leaving a seven year old boy alone in the world.
Awakening suddenly, realisation hits that time has passed. Three hundred years to be exact, yet he looks no older than twenty and has combat knowledge that he cant remember acquiring.
Joined by others, he begins searching for answers. Along the way, Varin runs into Drogun, his brother, who reveals a prophecy foretold centuries ago. A prophecy detailing crystals that control the worlds elements and a dangerous enemy unlike any other. A prophesy detailing the brothers of Fire & Ice. It is with the knowledge of this prophecy that they decide to go searching for the crystals.
A mysterious man named Holfast is also looking for these crystals. Could this man be the dangerous enemy they have been forewarned against?

Autoren-Porträt von Darren Arquette
From a young age, Darren has always seen that the main driving force behind the entertainment industry, this being movies, video games and books, is the narrative. Which he believes that a number of these mediums, are forgetting. Since then Darren has planned and developed a series of books, from the age of 11 to today, based on the idea of that nothing is bigger than the characters and narrative of any medium, and through this idea the reader will learn about these characters, not just of who they are as a character but who they are as a human being.
This is an idea that Darren even hopes to continue and explore with in the video game industry as a Creative Director and Co-Founder of EMP Software Design, a mobile video game development studio.
Gaming technology and techniques have always fascinated him and always will. They’ve driven him to a gaming degree, and aspirations to a whole lot more.
When he was growing up he wasn’t sure what he wanted to do with my life, which path to take so to speak, with no real role models it was a very hard choice for him to make.
This was until Darren reached the age of twelve and played two great games for the PlayStation: Metal Gear Solid and Final Fantasy VII.
Since then Darren had and always wondered how they make games and once he played those two games, he knew he was hooked for life.
"I loved their connection to the player and imaginative attempts to break the forth wall. They were really trying to get to you while you played. Metal Gear Solid tells you which buttons to press, even to turn the console off – not a good idea. And of course there’s the infamous fight with Psycho Mantis whom can read your memory card. Then Final Fantasy, with its massive world and deeply flawed, but brilliantly human characters that made you care about them.
All this set me on a read towards the video game industry, and to learn the technical ins and outs of making games, and maybe one day to be a Creative Director. And since

then I’ve been working my butt off through School, College and now University to grasp every thing slither of understanding about games that I can."
