Previous occupations include florist, jazz & blues singer, Shakespearean actress, and video game tester. She readily admits to being a video game nut and an unabashed sci-fi/fantasy nerd, as well as a horror fanatic. E.J. embraces contradictions, adoring the fanciful but devoting herself to logic, science, and critical thinking.
