What if you stumbled across a portal to another world? Would you risk entering?
This is the dilemma Friday, our young heroine, faces in a quirky and enchanting faery tale. Friday is an extraordinary child, and nothing is quite as it seems in the magical world she shares with a delightfully eccentric cast of memorable characters. Courage, compassion, creativity, resourcefulness, acceptance of gifts, and differences are some of the lessons learned, with deeper meaningful threads of eco awareness and spirituality woven into the fabric of this compelling, unique, and richly author-illustrated story.

Autoren-Porträt von Claire Gerrard
Claire is at heart a dream tender, nature mystic and visionary artist. Her primary work as a jewellery designer and maker is supplemented by quirky assemblage pieces, soul dolls and anything else the Muse dictates. Her purpose is to reveal the magic in the mundane. The study of psychology, myths and legends, especially Celtic, and anything Jungian inform her life and work, as does time spent in nature , woodland walks and beach combing. Part selkie she needs to swim a lot and commune with her seal family, but that's another story…
