Jerry Guibor is a native Californian who has worked as a photographer, reporter, designer, and editor at newspapers in California, Arizona, and Oregon for more than forty years. Since 1994, he has been a volunteer missionary with three different mission agencies in Russia and Ukraine. He began with International School Project in 2000 and reconnected with ISP in 2006. His first book, A Candle Burned, contains stories of faith about his Russian and Ukrainian friends.He has two adult daughters and five grandchildren. He has been married to Lyudmyla O. Guibor, a native Ukrainian, for more than two years. He and his wife live in Fresno, California. Lyudmyla has one granddaughter.
