Told through the eyes of 12 people who are directly involved or touched by the ordination of a woman as a Roman Catholic priest instead of her twin brother, the novel, as it unfolds, takes the reader into the various worlds and mind-sets of the Bishop, a newspaper publisher, a woman professor, the bishop's administrative assistant, the twins and their parents to name a few.But the question is: can the blessing in this modern switching of twins, unlike like that of the Patriarch's, be undone?
