The characters of the Australian outback feature prominently along with other not so savoury characters. A plane crash sets up Rays first adventure as he tries to survive in the bush. He also has some good times as a hotel owner and country gentleman. His travels allow him to meet and get to know many different true Aussies.

Terrence grew up in a small country town in New South Wales. After a working life in industry and mining he took early retirement and completed a business degree. He then worked for a short time for the Australian Taxation Office and then ran a small business. After a marriage breakup he travelled extensively throughout country Queensland and New South Wales. Meeting and working with the characters of the bush has given him a love of country life and people. He is now retired in a small village on the Sunshine Coast of Queensland.
