A previously published writer in other areas, Brooks has now written a true must read for anyone wishing to build a new custom home. Wesley Brooks holds the honor of receiving a National Leadership Award in 2002 by the National Business Advisory Council as well as named Michigans Businessman of the Year two years in a row for 2003 and 2004 by a United States Congressional Committee in Washington D.C.. Brooks is an FAA licensed private pilot and travels to construction manufacturing facilities to learn about new building products and materials. Brooks has owned a construction company named New Style Construction located in North Oakland County of Michigan for the past 14 years. He builds new custom homes in and around the Northern part of Oakland County as well as Lapeer County, which is where, Brooks now currently resides.
