A small raven-haired girl with crystal-blue eyes named Killani Sepulcra leans on the window pane and sighs heavy. She winces and rubs her leg gently. The harnesses holding her legs are too tight again, but she knew it was for the best. Papa always said, Fate took your legs, but it didn't take your life. You have a lot to be thankful for, young lady. Again she sighed as she watched the neighbors children playing in the olive grove beside the fairway. How she longed to feel the sun on her face, to smell summer filling her nose, and to runshe wanted that most of all.
Little did she realize that she would get her wish granted. Little did she know what price she would pay to be a normal girl.

Autoren-Porträt von Otan
Life wasn’t easy growing up with Dyslexia and an extraordinary amount of bad luck. He started life as a misfit and made all the wring decisions, and by the time he realised what life was truly about, it was too late. So they told him. At 37, he leaned to read and write properly in TAFE (Technical and Further Education) where he discovered his talent for story writing. He was always telling his daughter elaborate and intricate stories that went on for years and had an unseen potential even he did not see. Before his re-education, he avoided all reading and writing as much as he could and maths was impossible for him to grasp. After he lost his daughter and a complicated relationship he was in, ended, he had nothing left in life, so contemplated suicide and began preparations. He had shelved a story he was doing for TAFE on a laptop that nothing worked on, but it had Microsoft Word. But it had been hacked and shut it self-down so figured all was lost on it. A year later in desperation for something that had Word on it to use (As he could not afford to buy Word or a new laptop) he pulled his old laptop out of a shabby old box and rediscovered a series of short stories and two chapters of one, he called Harbinger. There, he rediscovered his passion for writing again and this is the result.
