Autoren-Porträt von Rebecca Darling
Haven House is Rebecca’s first children’s book. She brings to life a story for families to help them through the journey of Alzheimer’s disease from a child’s perspective. Haven House was inspired by her own mother’s struggle with Alzheimer’s disease and her father’s journey as a caregiver. Rebecca provides a glimmer of hope for families to adapt to the new relationship with their loved one with Alzheimer’s. For over twenty years, Rebecca has worked in marketing and sales management with companies in both the United States and Canada. Rebecca works at the Small Business Development Centre at KEDCO (Kingston Economic Development Corporation) where she facilitates growth of small and medium size enterprises and manages a Government of Ontario youth entrepreneurship program in the area.
She and her husband live in Kingston, Ontario. ca.linkedin.com/in/rebeccadarling/
