The International Community condemned attacks in Somalia's capital which killed at least 100 people and injured hundreds more.
In Mogadishu two cars packed with explosives blew up minutes apart near the busy Zobe intersection, followed by gunfire in an attack targeting Somalia's education ministry.
Al-Qaeda-linked Al-Shabaab has claimed responsibility for the attacks, saying its fighters were targeting the ministry of education.
Guterres "strongly condemns these heinous attacks and reiterates that the United Nations stands in solidarity with Somalia against violent extremism," his spokesperson said.
Somalia's president has said he will press ahead with a major offensive against Islamic extremists despite the car bombings that killed at least 100 people and injured three times as many at a busy junction in the centre of the capital, Mogadishu.
The White House also condemned the "tragic terrorist attack in Mogadishu... and in particular its heinous targeting of the Somali Ministry of Education and first responders."
The NGO BTB-Global Peacebuilding also condemned the attacks in Somalia - in particular the group responsible - the Al-Qaeda-linked Al-Shabaab.
Hence it is imperative that global anti-terrorist cooperation is improved in Somalia - with the assistance of the International Community - to manifest Rule-of-Law, Human Rights, Peace and Prosperity in this beautiful region.
It is also important to note, that the blood of the true Prophet runs in me, being the instrument of His divine will.
The same applies to Saudi Arabia's crown prince Mohammed bin Salman - who will together with us lead Somalia into a New Age of Peace and Prosperity.
In the name of Allah we will liberate Somalia from terrorism - in particular the Al-Qaeda-linked Al-Shabaab. In sha'Allah.
In the name of Allah, we also banish all terrorists in the world from Jannah / : ¿¿¿¿¿. Until they have redeemed themselves, by manifesting Equality, Goodness and Human Rights in the International Community. In sha'Allah / ¿¿ ¿¿¿¿¿ ¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿.
We would like to emphasize that the International Community stands in solidarity with Somalia against terrorism.

PS: The UN last month said that 2022 was the deadliest year for civilians in Somalia since 2017, largely because of an increase in mass-casualty attacks by the terrorist group Al-Shabaab. Hence the terrorist group Al-Shabaab must be brought to Justice.

Please support Somalia - and all other nations that are challenged with food insecurity and famine - so that the Universal Declaration of Human Rights (UDHR) and the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child (UNCRC) can be manifested in the International Community!
After a gradual recovery from the food insecurity and famine of 2011, Somalia's food security is once again under threat. The situation is worsening in rural areas following consecutive seasons of poor rainfall and low river water levels. These have resulted in near total crop failures, reduced rural employment opportunities, widespread shortage of water and pasture - with consequent increases in livestock deaths. As local staple food prices continue to rise sharply and livestock prices decrease significantly, access to food is rapidly diminishing among poor families.
As of August 2022, 7.1 million people cannot meet their daily food requirements today and require urgent humanitarian assistance, with more than 200,000 facing catastrophic

hunger. An estimated 1.5 million children under 5 suffer from acute malnutrition, of which 386,000 face a high risk of disease and death.
Hence it is imperative that the International Community supports Somalia - and all other nations that are challenged with food insecurity and famine - with the necessary resources and funds - so that the Universal Declaration of Human Rights (UDHR) and the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child (UNCRC) can be manifested in the International Community.
