Healing the State of Israel - Protecting and Safeguarding the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child (UNCRC) in Israel and Palestine (ePub)

The Supreme Court President of the State of Israel, Chief Justice Esther Hayut denounced Mr. Netanyahu's illegal plan to destroy Israel's judicial and legal system, saying it would deal a fatal blow to the country's democratic identity.

It should also be noted, that Israel stands accused of crimes against humanity under international laws, including the 1973 Apartheid Convention and the 1998 Rome statute of the international criminal court, which defines apartheid as systematic racial domination - which my dear friend Bibi Netanyahu and his henchmen are perpetuating.

The International Community has confirmed that Israel's continued occupation of the West Bank and the development of new settlements there are blatant violations of International Law, as the senseless Israel-Palestine conflict continues.

"The Palestinian narrative evokes experiences of South Africa's own history of racial segregation and oppression," Naledi Pandor, South Africa's minister of international relations and cooperation said; South Africa unequivocally affirming its commitment to end apartheid in Israel-Palestine.

"As oppressed South Africans, we experienced firsthand the effects of racial inequality, discrimination and denial and we cannot stand by while another generation of Palestinians are left behind."

"If there is any country or countries that can comprehend the suffering and the struggle for freedom and independence of Palestine, it is the African continent and the people of Africa," Palestinian foreign minister Riad Malki confirmed.

A recent UN commission of inquiry to investigate violations in the occupied Palestinian territory, including East Jerusalem, determined in its report that Israel is responsible for severe human rights violations against Palestinians.

Hence it's imperative that the Knesset implements the necessary legislation that ALL people in the land are equal under the law, i.e one person one vote.

Failure to do so will increasingly label Israel as an Apartheid State.

In view of the severity of Rule of Law violations, extremism and apartheid perpetrated by the Netanyahu government, we encourage the International Community - in particular the African Union, the US and EU to impose sanctions against the Netanyahu government - until Rule of Law has been restored in Israel-Palestine.
