Holly the Christmas Dove (ePub)

I love all of those wonderful Christmas songs and stories for children like Santa Claus, his elves, his reindeer. Rudolph the red-nosed reindeer, Frosty the Snowman, The little drummer boy, the Grinch etc etc, but all of them have a male central character (hero) and since I couldn't find stories with a female (heroine) I thought we could certainly use one such story that could inspire little girls to look up to, so I created "Holly the Christmas Dove" ( published by lulu.com in 1999) and the moral of the story shines on the last page (p 32) where Holly is completely happy for finally finding her place in life ",,,where she could use her special talents to make others happy."

Being my first and only book (with a related song) I spent several years from 1990 to 1999 researching and learning how to write my story from several excellent resources, and also learning how to draw each original illustration for my book. Being an unknown author I found Lulu.com an excellent online "Print-on-demand.
(P-O-D) book publisher to guide me though this process and get my book published and distributed for the world to learn about Holly. But, alas, as I'm retired and getting older, without funds or experience to Promote my book I simply made it available freely on the internet via YouTube/dick healey, with references like this to anyone interested in getting a hard-cover copy(or an ebook version) of "Holly the Christmas Dove" from Lulu.com or Amazon. com or Barnes & Noble.com. But, for those just interested in watching the 10-minute video of the story I uploaded my video of the story to my you tube/dickhealey website where its freely available. Holly the Christmas Dove - a new children's Christmas story .Holly is a beautiful female dove from a family of ceremonial doves in a small New England village. But she tends to be a showoff so she doesn't fit well with the conservative villagers, and is a constant worry for her parents.
