Their home is in rolling woodlands near the Missouri River, land reminiscent of the Ozarks, where she spent childhood summers and where the Love Finds a Home series took root in her imagination. Trips to her sister on the Texas Gulf gave rise to the setting for her second series, the upcoming Love on Blue Heron Bay.
