Chemicals from kudzu including a new biofuel promises to ease the companies money problems, but an accident in their pilot plant may dash those hopes. When a former employee is brought back to investigate the accident he discovers drugs, terrorists and a moonshining operation that only adds to their problems. The unorthodox methods their new head of plant protection and security uses to get rid of the drugs and terrorists may cause even bigger problems.

FA (Freddie) Shepherd is a retired research chemist, retiring from Tennessee Eastman's Research Laboratories in 1992. Horse Creek Lemonade is his second published book. His first was The Massacre at Noe Creek, A Collection of Stories and Tales was published by AuthorHouse in December, 2010. In addition to these he had previously written and published just for family and friends an autobiography, a collection of stories and tales, and Freddie's Family History in Pictures. Freddie now lives in Northeast Tennessee where he enjoys playing golf, writing and Canadian fishing trips.
