Born in Washington, DC, and raised in Southeast San Diego, CA, PerCilla Zeno is a vibrant voice in our time. She shares her spirit, humor, and insight as a motivational speaker, healer, entrepreneur, and now a dynamic author. Friends and colleagues describe her as a "force of nature."She serves her community not only as a member of the Order of The Eastern Star®, but also as the president and owner of Zeno Wellness Group, a Substance Abuse Outpatient Medical Practice in Virginia. Registered as a Peer Recovery Specialist by the Department of Health Professions Board of Counseling and certified as a Community Health Worker by the Virginia Certification Board, PerCilla is dedicated to the health and recovery work she undertakes.Her personal life, filled with the joy of raising her five children, being married to her beloved husband, Luis, and aiding others in their wellness journeys, are some of her greatest motivators. Her mentorship through retreats, one-on-one support, and contributions to the mental health, recovery, and holistic health community through alternative medicine or peer recovery support, embody her passion. In her spare time, PerCilla relishes in dancing, outdoor meditation, traveling, and exploring different cuisines.
