As an American doctor on a dangerous chase to locate his French lover is unwittingly led straight into the clutches of an international mob, he soon discovers he can count on only one person: himself.

Barry Altman, MD graduated from Muhlenberg College in Allentown, Pennsylvania, and Jefferson Medical College of Philadelphia. Now retired, he lives with Lois, his second wife, in New Jersey, where he creates relief paintings and sculptures, participates in art shows, and writes. He has been writing for many years, but this is his debut novel.
