Colorado native and first time author/illustrator Marina Galasso started her children's book when she was merely sixteen, from a poem she had written on a whim. She was encouraged by her English and Art teachers at Brighton High School, her love for children and the help of her family to create "I Wish..." At age twenty-one Marina lives in Brighton, Colorado, where she works at a local hospital. Caring for people inspires her life. She looks forward to writing and illustrating more books for children in the future.
