This book is a compendium of thoughts shared with hundreds of people on Facebook for more than six years by a Nigerian-Australian who desperately wanted a change in his homeland. The fundamental point is that distance should not be a barrier to political participation in this twenty-first century.

Autoren-Porträt von Wale Olaitan
Wale Olaitan was born in Ado-Odo, Ogun State, Nigeria. He was the vice president of the Students' Union during his undergraduate university days. He was also actively involved in the political movement that led to return of democracy after decades of military rule in Nigeria.Olaitan was educated at University of Agriculture Abeokuta, Nigeria, and Griffith University, Australia. He holds a bachelor's degree in agricultural economics, graduate certificate, and a master's of criminology and criminal justice. He currently works as criminal justice practitioner in Melbourne.
He is married to Titilayo, and they have three daughters, Damilola, Temilola, and Eniola.
