Born and bred in New Zealand, Alex Pickard’s passion for storytelling started out at a young age. Like Eric, Alex shared many early childhood adventures with a tatty old bear, his brave accomplice on many adventures, in which the two clashed swords with pirates, explored dark jungles, and fought the monsters under the bed. Now an adult, Alex spends his time writing, reading, and sharing said tall tales to his tall friends.
The same monsters still lurk under his bed, but he knows a particular teddy bear who can help him if they ever get too unruly.
