Now retired, Stephen Waters is the fifth generation of his family to own and publish the Rome (NY) Daily Sentinel newspaper, where he worked for 46 years. Before that he programmed computers for IBM, salvaged a university computer center in Nijmegen, NL, majored in History and Political Science at Colgate University, and spent a year as a high school exchange student in Sydney and Darwin, Australia.
