Autoren-Porträt von Jonathan Harvey, Chris Harris, Terry Compton, Mark R Hunter, Ruth Ann Nordin, Joleene Naylor, Simon Goodson
Joleene Naylor is the author of the glitter-less Amaranthine series, a world where vampires aren’t for children. As a compliment to the novel series, she has also written several short stories, including the Vampire Morsels collection, and an Amaranthine Encyclopedia. In what little time is left she watches anime and updates her blogs, all from a crooked Victorian house in Villisca, Iowa. Between her husband and her pets, she is never lonely, and should she ever disappear one might look for her on a beach in Tahiti, sipping a tropical drink and wearing a disguise.

You never know what you’ll find in the shadows…..
Throughout history people have asked themselves, “How can I find out more about the author of this book?” and then began to worry that someone heard them talking to themselves. Well, the author of Shades of Plaid doesn’t want anyone to worry like that. But, you notice, he still hasn’t told you who he is. By now, he should have told you that his name was Jonathan Harvey, that he is a Christian author and then maybe said something about having recently moved to Florida. The guy hasn’t even stated that he writes a web comic or anything like that… Oh wait, he just did. Well, that was sneaky.
Mark R Hunter’s first novel, the romantic comedy Storm Chaser, was published by Whiskey Creek Press, which also released his related short story e-book collection, Storm Chaser Shorts, and a sequel, The Notorious Ian Grant. His other fiction work is a YA adventure, The No-Campfire Girls. He's published a collection of his humor columns, Slightly Off the Mark, and a humor piece by him was including in the anthology My Funny Valentine. He also has a story in the fiction anthology, Strange Portals.
With his wife Emily, Mark published two local history books, Smoky Days and Sleepless Nights: A Century or So With the Albion Fire Department, and Images of America: Albion and Noble County. They recently

published a humorous history book, Hoosier Hysterical: How the West Became the Midwest Without Moving at All. His humor column, Slightly Off the Mark, appears monthly in The Kendallville Mall and on his blog..
For two decades Mark R Hunter has been an emergency dispatcher for the Noble County Sheriff Department. He’s served over 30 years as a volunteer for the Albion Fire Department, holding such positions as safety officer, training officer, secretary, and public information officer. He also has done public relations writing for the Noble County Relay For Life, among other organizations, and served two terms on the Albion Town Council. When asked if he has any free time, he laughs hysterically.
Mark lives in Albion, Indiana, with his wife and editor Emily, a cowardly ball python named Lucius, and a loving, scary dog named Beowulf. He has two daughters and twin grandsons, and so naturally is considering writing a children’s book. He can be found online at www.markrhunter.com.
Chris Harris has written piles of work, which he uses to fill up hard drives and line his sock drawer. Someday he might actually publish it, but that day is not today. In the meantime, he will continue playing video games, watching WW2 documentaries and anime, and generally "living the dream" in small town Iowa, surrounded by too many people and a small menagerie of critters.
Simon Goodson is the author of the highly rated 'Wanderer's Escape' science fiction novel, and the two exciting books comprising the 'Dark Soul Silenced' fantasy story.
His short stories cover a variety of speculative fiction including, but not limited to, science fiction and fantasy. Several of the short stories are freely available from www.simongoodson.com, while many more are available in the collection 'Last Sunrise & Other Stories'.
Simon fits in writing around a full time job as an IT Consultant and a hectic family life looking after his twelve year old son and two three year old daughters. He can be found head down over his laptop most lunchtimes and during the commute home.
I am a stay-at-home mom of four school-aged boys and the proud wife of a veteran of the US Air Force. I live in Montana where I am fortunate to spend my days creating new worlds with characters I fall in love with. I have written fifty romances and have plans to write many more in the years to come.
Terry Compton has raced stock cars, rode horses across the Scapegoat Wilderness, fished and hunted most of his adult life while working at several different jobs. He is an Air Force veteran and served in the Air National Guard for several years. He is currently the owner, chief welder and installer for an ornamental iron business where he has made several award winning metal creations and is now turning this creativity to writing.
Terry loves to read science fiction, westerns and mystery stories. Some of his favorite authors are Clive Cussler, Robert Ludlum, Tom Clancy, Andre Norton, Poul Anderson, Robert Heinlein, Louie L'Amour, Zane Grey and Anne McCaffery. He is currently learning about 'indie' authors who are publishing e-books.
Terry currently lives in Montana with his wife and a dog who thinks she is a short furry people.
