Helen Rayson-Hill still has a holiday house at Seaspray, the property having been in her family for five generations. Helen has been a teacher, has worked in the performing arts, and is a painter and writer. She is married and has two sons. This is her first novel which is inspired by her grandchildren who wanted to know about the olden days. It is dedicated to Freya, Jojo, Pippa, Charlie, and Madeleine.
