This old man told the prince about the great king across the sea, who gives without merit whenever there is need. He told the prince that, in reality, he was blind, naked, and poor, and unless he ventured out to see this king, his wealth, his clothes, and his kingdom amounted to nothing.
With a fierce pride, the prince ignored the old man. He ventured out to hunt only to find himself lost in the great kings woods. There, he found himself lost, blind, alone, cold, and hungry. But he remembered the old mans words. He began to learn the true cost of wealth, the value of learning to see, and what it means to be truly clothed. And he also began to learn of the goodness of the great king across the sea.

Christopher Vega, lives in Reno, Nevada, with his wife and three boys. He currently works in a group home for youth struggling with drug abuse and does freelance journalism and art on the side. With over twenty years of experience working with disadvantaged youth, he recognizes the need to communicate with the young in a format they can understand and appreciate.
Having three boys helped him understand the importance of an education, not only for securing opportunities but developing latent skill sets. With the help of his wife, he returned to school and graduated with a dual major in journalism and art from the University of Nevada Reno.
