The book opens by reviewing the chief barriers-to-success faced by most businesses today, including the monopolization of media channels by the platforms, ineffective promotional techniques, self-serving tools, and a lack of accountability for revenue among Marketing and Sales professionals.
It then introduces the key to developing an effective Marketing and Sales strategy: inverting the current paradigm. Instead of viewing Lead Generation as a function within Marketing or Sales, it elevates Lead Generation to be the strategic goal to which Marketing and Sales are subordinate.
The book then details how to build an effective Marketing and Sales strategy for virtually any business, using the development of a B2B Cold Calling campaign as an example. And it then shows how to adapt the concept the any tactic in the Marketing Mix.
