Moving to Springfield, Ohio when he was four, he suffered with epileptic seizures until just recently when his neurologist found just the right dosages, which have cancelled out his seizures for the majority of the time. Robert never thought of himself as a poet, until he was challenged to write a poem for the writing competition at the community college he was attending at the time. Surprisingly enough, Robert came in third in the poetry division, and that was the beginning of his writing career. Since that time (1993), Robert has penned over 4,000 poems, many of which are inspirational. He has included in those, seasonal verse, such as Christmas, Easter, and a few stories in verse as well. He lives in Springfield, Ohio, with Linda, his wife of 18 years.
