Life was pretty normal for her. She obtained a degree in environmental biology at UCLA and then taught environmental education. But that wasn't enough so she obtained a second degree in nursing so she could help others as her mother and father had. She got married and had a daughter but tragedy hit when she lost her second daughter and became inconsolable. But from that she wrote and dedicated her writing to her second daughter Alexis. And this book is some of what she wrote.
