Autoren-Porträt von Christine McWilliams
In addition to having been a teacher, Christine has been a busker, restaurant pianist, cleaner and apple-picker. She is now working as a school chaplain, as well as a relief teacher. Christine is also the very proud Mum to two adult sons. In her work as a teacher and a chaplain, Christine has met a number of children who believed they were "... no good at anything ....." despite all of them being good at something! Madeleine's Gift was written in order to encourage all children to recognise they possess abilities and value. Madeleine's Gift is a beautiful children's story which also provides a springboard for discussion amongst families, between teachers and students, and between childhood friends, about, not only each child's unique abilities, but about family, animals and birds, personal relationships and positive behaviours such as encouragement and perseverance. It is also suitable for use by those involved in children's ministry.Christine's qualifications include an Associate in Music, Australia, a Diploma of Teaching, Associate Degree of Christian Thought and Practice, and a Bachelor of Theology.
