George R. Karram was classically trained at the Culinary Institute of America and changed course mid-life. He holds a master's degree from Hazelden Betty Ford Graduate School of Addiction Studies. Karram is certified by The International Gambling Counsel Certification Board (ICGC-I) and is currently a practicing addiction counselor. He is a father and grandfather and lives in Wyckoff, New Jersey.
